A leisure facility within the Daisen pasture, famous for its rich soft-serve ice cream, cows just beyond the fence, and a photo spot featuring a giant Shirohara milk carton.
Daisen Makiba Milk no Sato is a tourist facility beloved as the official concept shop of 'Shirohara Milk,' Tottori Prefecture's own dairy brand. Located in Kobayashi, Hōki-chō, at the foot of the Daisen pastureland, the facility underwent a renovation and reopened in April 2026. It carries a full range of Shirohara Milk-related products and original merchandise, creating an immersive Shirohara world for visitors.
The signature attraction is the rich, creamy soft-serve ice cream made with the facility's special milk blend — a product so popular it can sell up to 4,500 cones in a single day. Enjoyed with the majestic scenery of Mt. Daisen as a backdrop, it draws fans who travel from far afield.
Opening hours are 10:00–17:00, closed Tuesdays. Conveniently located to stop in on the way back from climbing Mt. Daisen or exploring nearby sights, the facility is a popular spot for families.
