A summer program for hotel guests from July 18 to August 23. By day, the hotel backyard offers water-pistol target games, water play, and bubbles. At night, guests can enjoy the Star Park. Guided stargazing is also offered on Mondays by reservation from 8:30 p.m., limited to 20 participants for ¥700 per person.

Summer festival

Festival Dear Masumizu 2026

Parking is available in three Masumizu Highland lots (about 200 spaces total) and at Daisen Makiba Milk Village. Please use the shuttle bus to reach the venue.

The fireworks will be cancelled in case of rain. Check the official website for the latest event and parking information before travelling.

A summer festival on the slopes of Mt. Daisen, beginning with the Masumizu Jizō ceremony at 5:00 p.m. The program includes Onimen taiko, live music, a balloon show, water-pistol activities, a water-splash battle, Bon dancing from 7:30 p.m., festival stalls, and a fireworks finale from 8:30 p.m.

The 60th festival features the Hōki harvest mikoshi and a joint performance by local taiko groups from 6:05 p.m., a Rocket Crayon stage show and children’s dance from 6:45 p.m., the community Kishimoto Ondo dance from 7:15 p.m., fireworks at 8:00 p.m., and a prize drawing from 8:15 p.m.
