A highland campsite nestled between ski slopes, complete with hot-spring showers.
CAMPFIELD GOEN is a campsite located within the Daisen-Oki National Park at an elevation of approximately 850 m. Set on a verdant highland between the Nakanohara and Gōen-yama ski areas, it reopened after a renovation in 2023.
The campground offers a variety of pitches—auto sites, free sites, and lawn spaces—and the management building is equipped with hot-water showers and a coin laundry. From the summit of Gōen-yama, which rises to the west of the site, guests can enjoy a 360-degree panorama encompassing Mt. Daisen's northern wall, the Sea of Japan, Yumigahama Beach, and Lake Nakaumi.
Situated about 800 m from the Daisenji bus stop, the campground is easy to reach and serves as a convenient base for sightseeing and hiking on Mt. Daisen. Bathing facilities are available at the adjacent Daisen View Heights, making this an ideal spot for combining outdoor camping with local sightseeing.
